Individual Therapy for Relationship Distress
Sometimes relationship concerns are best explored individually. Your partner may not be ready for couples therapy, you may be coping with separation or betrayal, or you may feel uncertain about whether to stay in your relationship.
This service is for adults whose relationship concerns are central to what they are experiencing. Therapy may help you:
Understand recurring relationship patterns
Cope with betrayal, separation, divorce, rejection, or loneliness
Improve communication and responses during conflict
Explore how past experiences affect trust and closeness
Clarify whether to stay in or leave a relationship
Respond more effectively to difficult thoughts and emotions
I draw primarily from Acceptance and Commitment Therapy to help you gain clarity, act in line with your values, and develop more flexible ways of responding.
My role is not to tell you what decision to make. Therapy offers a supportive, nonjudgmental space to better understand your experience and move forward with greater intention.
